Yes, we know most people skip right to the bottom, but unless you’re currently on fire, you really aren’t too busy to spare two minutes.
Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as a legitimate excuse for breaching site policy, and may result in your account being permanently banned. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.- All membership information must be accurate and belong to the person registering.
- Each forum member may have only one account.You will not register more than one member account without prior approval of an Administrator.
- Register if you're going to post, if we do not see any posts from you we will assume you have no interest in our site and your account may be terminated.
- All messages express the views of the author, and we, PZ10 Punjabi Zone, the owners and administrators of this site, will not be held responsible for the content of any message.
Forum Rules:
In order to maintain a friendly and pleasant atmosphere on the site we have implemented some basic rules of conduct, which may be updated by us from time to time without notice. We insist that ALL posters, abide by the rules and policies. Every member is expected to set an example befitting PZ10 Punjabi Zone by adhering to the following rules:
Inappropriate Content
The following are deemed to constitute inappropriate content. Posting such content will not be tolerated and may result in account suspension or banning as well as the deletion of the offending posts: - Posts or images of a defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, or threatening nature.
- Posts or images that violate any laws or regulations.
- Posts or images of sexually oriented material.
- Advertising of products or services without our prior consent. You will be banned without warning.
- SPAMMING; registering to post, solely to endorse/promote for your own personal gain. You will be banned IMMEDIATELY.
- Posts which involves hatred against another member of the site. This includes BASHING, and PERSONAL ATTACKS.
- Discussion of illegal activities such as software and movie piracy and other intellectual property violations. This includes linking to, posting about, and suggesting ways of obtaining illegal software and/or other copyrighted materials.
- Registering more than one Member account without prior approval of an administrator.
- Anything else deemed inappropriate by us.
- Links to any of the above.
We have full authority to use our discretion when making a ruling on what is deemed inappropriate. If you disagree, feel free to contact us at punjabizone@gmail.com and state your case. Bear in mind, we reserve the right to make the final judgement.
Expected Behaviour of Members - Refrain from using foul or offensive language within the site.
- Please make an effort to communicate yourself as clearly as possible, because there have been approximately twenty billion ridiculous, avoidable misunderstandings made on forums and we don’t want to add to that number. At least read your message before posting it.
- You may use smileys. They exist for a reason, to approximate body language, facial expression, and tone of voice. They are crucial in determining whether someone is joking or serious in an environment where deadpan humour and sarcasm are all too often mistaken for hideous rudeness.
- Treat all other forum members in a respectful and courteous manner at all times, even in the event of disagreements. It is only natural that sometimes people have a different opinion to yours. If you feel someone has overstepped the line in this regard, please inform us at punjabizone@gmail.com rather than instigating a pointlessly destructive “flame war”.
- Constructive criticism is welcomed; rants without any constructive merit will be deleted.
- Keep all posts within the appropriate forums. And always check if your comment or query has been covered before. Duplicating threads just adds clutter we have to clean up. Cleaning up makes us unhappy.
- Do not use excessively large signatures or avatars. Signature banners should be a maximum of 400 x 90 pixels. Avatars a maximum of 100 pixels x 100 pixels. All graphics must be in either .jpg or .gif format and web optimized.
- While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to make amendments to the rules at anytime and to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
- Refrain from Private Messaging Admin/Mods. unless it is for help regarding the forums or your account.
- Basically, just be nice to each other. Feel the love. Or be prepared to face the consequences.
The rules and policies of these forums are not to be taken lightly, they exist for a reason and the reason is to make PZ10 a fun and comfortable place for everyone.
Enforcement of Rules - We have absolute authority to edit content, issue warnings or ban members as we deem necessary.
- This forum operates on a "three strikes and you’re out" policy regarding misconduct. The first warning is likely to be a friendly slap on the wrist and should be enough. If you break the rules again, you will get a formal warning, and possibly a temporary suspension. The third offence will result in a ban. No questions asked, no excuses. This also applies to continuous unconstructive posting known as "spamming".
Should you feel you have been treated unfairly by us, you may appeal directly to us at punjabizone@gmail.com, however If you’re in an abusive mood, we recommend calming yourself down before writing to us. If we have to read a disrespectful appeal we'll be less likely to reconsider our position.
